John Cassidy

John Cassidy started in early 1998 and is a band that hopes to rekindle the classic styles of rock, dance and pop. It started as a relaxed pop band, to a glam rock band and now we're moving to dance and soul.

We are comprised of two guitarist (one being a singer), a bass guitarist, a drummer and a full Jazz band - who will, live on stage, try to recreate the sound from our studio version of our new, unreleased album Ricochet. 

​

The goal of our band is full retro revival so, as you can see, we have vinyl singles and albums and are using older technology and new technology to create a breaking point in both styles. 

​

Due to creative differences in the original band, we have found new members to take the helm of this classic and influential alternative band, who have faithfully re-imagined the style in alternative dance, with intriguing time signatures and structure of lyrics and chords, with fame being their favourite but not their most popular.

As we are new to being a band that uses the internet, we will release our favourite songs we have made onto the new single Let's Dance, including our 60's pop era and our plastic soul era and even our current 50's dance era for free.
